After a great dinner at McKenzie’s, I went to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra last night. It was the first time I have seen them. It was an awesome experience. Yes, they are loud, but I would gladly endure the volume again next year if they perform in Colorado Springs again. It was one of the most fantastic and beautiful shows I have ever seen. Wonderful, fantastic performers. I could go on and on, but really recommend that if you have the chance, go see the show. Just be prepared for how loud they are and the special effects.
The wind here in the Springs yesterday was horrendous. On the way to the arena, we encounter numerous tumbleweeds on the road. Thank God they’re brittle bushes and we were able to drive over them without problems. But, since the airport in Colorado Springs sits out on the prairie, the road to the airport was closed until the tumbleweeds could be removed. There were so many piled up that they blocked traffic.
Needless to say, I had a wonderful evening. It was such a pleasure to stop working and get out and away for an evening. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Now today, back to work. Novels do not write themselves. Well anyway, my fingers have to be on the keyboard. A lot of times, the characters take over the story and write the book the way they want it to be. That happened with Kathryn Crown. I’m waiting to see what Megan and John T are going to do.
It is another bright sun shiny day here in the Springs again, and the wind is still blowing, but not as hard. We could use some rain as it is so dry and that makes the fire hazard high. Everyone have a great day and stay safe. I’ll talk with you later.
