Well folks, here in Colorado Springs, we’ve lucked out on the snow so far. We’ve had a lot of above average warm weather so far this winter. But , starting tomorrow, I think it’s our turn for a lot of snow. We’re supposed to get between 8 to 16 inches on Sat, Sun and possibly Monday. I’m scheduled for x-rays on Monday, I hope I’m able to make it. It is way on the north side of town and I live on the south side. Still, we can’t complain as “we need the moisture”. It’s been really dry here, so much so that a stray bullet, on the firing range at Ft Carson, started a small grass fire a week or so ago. It was quickly contained, which we’re all thankful for. We don’t need a repeat of 2012 or 2013, please Lord.
Sister and I just finished another edit on THE STONE KILLER, which I will be uploading to Smashwords along with A CIRCLE OF MURDERS. We will no longer be utilizing Amazon’s KDP, but will format and upload to Amazon, Smashwords and Lightning Source within a week of each other. That way our books will be available on all e-readers, and book stores can order hard copies for their store. It is an ambitious endeavor, but I’ll give it a try and see how it goes. We’ll keep you posted.
THE HANGMAN is coming along. I continue to come across questions about procedures and legal issues that have to be answered, but that is to be expected. I’ll keep plugging along as always. The only way to succeed is persistence even though I’m lousy at marketing. I spend so much time trying to market our books that it is taking away from my writing time.
So, everyone have a great weekend and stay safe. I hope the snow doesn’t get too deep or it will be over Titan’s back. He’s not too tall.
