It is hard to believe that July is half over. Sister and I have been working almost every day at her house sorting, packing and stacking filled boxes for her to have transported back to her house in Ohio. The amount of things a person can accumulate during thirty some years, all filled with memories which you hate to let go, is astounding. But the selection had to be done. And Friday is going to be an extremely difficult day. It will be two years ago on the 15th that she lost her husband. She is a strong woman and has overcome so much, but the pain in your heart after you lose someone you deeply love hurts more than any physical pain. You can take a pill to ease physical pain, but there is nothing you can take to lessen a deep heartache. Only time will reduce the constant ache. So we must endeavor to persevere with life without that person. God’s plan for each of us makes us NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER. We must stay the course and carry on as sister is doing, no matter the obstacles. All the sorting and packing is nearly finished; now come the cleaning and all that entails and minor repairs. Once that is finished, the house goes on the market and sister will be heading back to Ohio. This house is going to be so quiet after she leaves. It has been wonderful having her here, and I will miss her terribly.
I put working on THE HANGMAN on hiatus until after we pack up sister’s house. Once everything is finished, I will be back hard at work to finish the book and upload it to Amazon. It has been cooking in my poor brain all this time, so needless to say I want to finish it ASAP. Then the rewrites and editing has to be done to make it as polished as possible. So be patient folks, THE HANGMAN will be available this year.
Everyone have a great weekend and stay safe.
