Well, hello again.  I know, I told Sister I was going to do a Blog more often.  It just seems I can’t get my day in order to do the things I want.

My daughter’s poor little Shitzu is miserable.  I think I’ve told you that several years ago, Freedom slapped her in the eye and tore it right out of her face.  Well now, she had to have the other eye removed the other day.  It was all infected and she couldn’t see out of it anyway.  My daughter works and is not home during the day, so Zoey stays with us.  She is determined to scratch the incision area.  She had a hood on, but she has  figured out a way to get her head out enough to rub that incision on all the furniture.  And of course, she leaves behind blood.  I am at my wits end.  Poor little thing.  I feel so bad for her.

Speaking of Freedom, I could just kill her.  Of course, I won’t harm a hair on her head.  But last night I let her sleep on the bed in the guest room.  Well, don’t you know, she chewed a hole in the quilt.  I don’t know what to do with her.  She is a Pit Bull and the sweetest puppy I have ever seen.  Well, she is part Pit.  I would have her teeth pulled, but she only has four left.  She is old and thinks she can do whatever she wants.

I think I told you that we had bats up under a decorative thing on the front of the house.  Our son-in-law got rid of them, but now they are back.  There was only one at the front of the house and when it fell to the ground and he touched it with a shovel, it flew right at  him and he almost killed himself trying to get away from it.  I don’t know what to do to get rid of them for good.  I don’t really mind having them around unless they manage to get into the house.  Then I’m MOVING!!  Of course, they eat mosquitos by the thousands.  That is a good thing.  But, I have this thing about them getting in my hair.  What to do.  What to do.    Now, our next-door neighbor told us he walked out his front door and there were two Copperhead snakes laying on his walk.  OMG!!  Those things are extremely poisonous as are several types of snakes here in KY.  Lordy, what have I gotten myself into.

You all should see my garden.  It consists of three pots with tomato plants and two pots with cucumber plants.  Plus various flowers here and there in pots.  They all look good and  healthy, one has a tomato on it.  We see by and by how much we get from container gardening.  Well I better finish this up.  I want to get some editing on THE HANGMAN done today.  And I have actually started working on a sweater I began knitting a couple of years ago.  Me procrastinate?  NO. Not me.

You all take care and be good to yourselves.  Get at least two pages of your book done today, and we’ll talk later.  Thanks for following.  We do appreciate it so much.
