The calendar says winter begins today. So far we’ve had only a couple of snowfalls, but a lot of rain. Who knows what the next few months will bring. I hope as little snow as possible. It’s not that I don’t like snow, but I don’t drive in it having lived in Florida too many years. With a lot of snow on the roads and ground, it means I’m stuck in the house and can’t get out to do things that I might like to do. Not that I go out and do a lot as I am usually at my computer working on a novel or checking something on the Internet.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to plan out which novel to work on at the beginning of the year. Since TO CATCH A DREAM is close to being finished, I will start with that one, complete it and get it ready to upload. Then I will finish ALL FOR THE LOVE OF HANNAH.  I want to get these two novels completed so I can focus on THE SNATCHER. The next book in the Jonas Black series I hope will not be as complicated as I made THE HANGMAN. That book had more twists and turns than I could almost keep track of, but I did keep a running log of what was going on. My motto from now on IS KEEP IT SIMPLE, which I believe to be better when telling a story. There are a couple of things in THE SNATCHER that I have to work out yet, like what my killer does for a living. He’s such a friendly goodhearted appearing man and deceives everyone who knows. So be on the lookout for THE SNATCHER coming in 2019.

Anyway, those are my writing plans for the coming year. But as the old saying goes, the best-laid plans of mice and men can somehow go astray. I shall try every way in the world to stick to my schedule. But things do happen when we least expect them. All I can do is try my best. I need to create a book cover for Hannah. I haven’t found the right photograph yet. I’ll keep looking. Below are brief synopsis of the books.

He’s watching, watching, and soon he’ll choose, the perfect child to snatch and groom.  He likes to play hide and seek, but never, never will his victim keep.  All too soon their end will come, and once again he’s on the hunt.  Be watchful, be weary, and hope and pray that your child is not The Snatcher’s next prey.

Marine Sergeant Nathan C Roberts hadn’t planned on dying in Afghanistan from an IED attack.  But, he did.  As ghosts, he and his team accompanied their bodies back to their families for the final goodbye and burial.  Nate finds he can’t leave his wife, Hannah and refuses to enter the light trying to draw him away.  Instead, he sits on the second story balcony each night, on guard against a danger he senses waits to snare her.  Who or what danger threatens is a mystery.  He only knows he must be there to protect her.  To save Hannah, he must fight one last battle against the malicious evil waiting to take her life.  Or will evil win and Hannah be joined with Nate forever in death?

Well, folks, as you can see I have my work cut out for me. Send me prayers and wish me luck to achieve my goal. Everyone have a great Christmas, a productive New Year and stay safe. Always remember: NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER.
