I am happy to report that Jojo is doing great. He is still not happy with me for taking him to the vet but he’ll be healthier. That is what matters and he’ll get over his mad.
The weather report says it is 42 degrees outside. It may be, but it is still cold with all this humidity. I am ready for warm weather even if it means helping my sister with her garden. She plants a big garden every year with beans, lots of tomato plants, cucumber plants and hot pepper plants. She strings beans all summer and freezes them for the winter. Me, I don’t care for green beans all that much. I can eat them, but they are not my favorite vegetable. I do love kale. Now the mortgage lifer tomatoes are fantastic as long as I don’t eat too many. Grow one in a pot and give them a try. They are delicious.
I’m getting ready to drive to the restaurant, Old Bag of Nails, for a fish dinner to go. They have wonderful fried fish and chips. Sister and I don’t eat out that often, but every now and then we want fish for dinner and that is the place to go in Mansfield, Ohio.
Well, Tigger has done it again. This afternoon I found a small piece of black coated wire lying on the living room rug. From the moment I picked it up and looked at the frayed chewed cord, I knew somewhere there was an electronic item that was no longer working. I found it! I can’t understand why that cat chews up these small electrical cords to my keyboard, mouse, and many other items of which I have had to replace and hide or cover all the cords. The question I guess I should be asking is what is the wiring coated with to attract a cat and cause him to chew it up and destroy it? I don’t know. If you do, email me at email@example.com and let me know.
The weekend is here. Everyone have a great time and stay safe. Remember, NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER.
